"هذا أنا. ذاك ما أملك من الحرية و الانتصار.انا اؤمن بالله الذي يستطيع أن يفعل كل شئ ، ولكن اذا اختار ان لايعطيني ذراعين و ساقين ،أعرف أن ذلك افضل. قد لا افهم ذلك ، ولكن كل مااحتاج الى معرفته هو ان الله سوف يعينني ، ثمة غرض لذلك" تلك هي بعض كلمات نيك فويتشش ،الانسان الذي ولد في صباح يوم الرابع من ديسمبر 1982 في استراليا من غير أطراف ، فاقدا الذراعان عند مستوى الكتف ، و بقدم واحدة صغيرة باصبعين تبرز من فخذه اليسرى.\\ "بغض النظر عن من انت ، بغض النظر عن الحاله التي تمر بها ،الله يعلم بها" ، يقول نيك. ويضيف "انه معك. سوف يعينك".\\ يتبع نيك نهجا ايجابيا نحو الحياة على الرغم من انها لم تكن سهلة بالنسبة اليه. كانت سنواته الأولى من الحياة حين واجه اوقاتا صعبه من الشعور بانه مرفوض ، غريب و مخيف بسبب اختلافه الجسدي. كان من الصعب جدا عليه ان يعتاد على ذلك ، ولكن بدعم من والديه ، بدأ فى تطوير المواقف والقيم التي ساعدته في التغلب على هذه الاوقات الصعبة.\\ في سن السابعة عشر ، بدأ نيك التحدث في المناسبات التي ترعاها المدرسة والكنيسة. و ببلوغه سن التاسعة عشر ، بدا وكأنه قد وجد ما كان يصبو اليه ، حيث أصبح يتلقى عشرات الدعوات للتحدث.\\ نيك فويتشش يمتلك حقا أحد اقوى الصفات البشريه : الصوت. من خلال منظمته الغير الربحيه التي أسماها "الحياة من دون اطراف" و من خلال البرنامج التحفيزي بعنوان "السلوك هو السمو" قال فويتشش أنه قام باكثر من 1600 ظهور للحديث في 12 دولة و لأكثر من مليوني شخص. \\في سن الحادية و العشرين ، تخرج نيك من الكلية بتخصص مزدوج في المحاسبه والتخطيط المالي. و لذا ، فبالاضافة لكونه متحدث تحفيزي ، فهو مستثمر عقاري ، مستثمر في سوق الأوراق المالية و مؤلف. كتابة عدد من الكتب الأكثر مبيعا كان واحدا من احلامه و لذا يأمل في الانتهاء من كتابة كتابه الاول الذى اطلق عليه اسم " بلا ذراعين ، بلا ساقين ، بلا مخاوف!" لقد تعلم نيك الكتابة باستخدام اثنين من اصابع قدمه اليسرى و جهاز خاص ينزلق على أصبعه الكبير من أجل الامساك. لقد تعلم أيضااستعمال الحاسب والطباعة باستخدام طريقته "الكعب و الاصبع".\\تعلم نيك أن يصبح مستقلا و بامكانه الآن العناية بجميع احتياجاته الشخصية. بامكانه أن يفعل كل شئ بما في ذلك تنظيف أسنانه، تمشيط شعره ، ارتداء ملابسه، العناية بنظافته الشخصية و حتى الحلاقة.\\ ينظف نيك اسنانه عن طريق اسناد فرشاة الاسنان بالعضلات بين عنقه وكتفه. يجد نيك فويتشش أيضا الوقت لأنشطه عادية مثل السباحه ، الموسيقى و صيد الاسماك. فويتشش يستطيع السباحه ، وهو الأمر الذي يخلق الدهشه بين الناس الذين لم يسبق لهم رؤيته في الماء خصوصا عندما يغوص الى نهاية اعماق حوض السباحه.\\ " ليس لدي الكثير من كتلة الجسم مقارنة مع اي شخص اخر". يقول نيك. "انا أطفو ، وأظل قابلا للطفو ما لم يلقي احدهم نكتة. اذا بدأت بالضحك ، أبدأ بالغرق ، و حينها لا يصبح ذلك الأمر مسليا" و كيف يمكنه صيد الاسماك اذا لم يكن لديه ذراعان؟ لديه عصا صيد مزودة ببكرة الكترونية.\\ نيك فويتشش يعتقد انه اذا كان لديك الرغبة والشغف للقيام بشيء ما ، و كانت تلك مشيئة الله ، سوف تحقق ذلك الأمر و خلال وقت جيد. كبشر ، نضع باستمرار قيود على انفسنا بدون اي سبب على الاطلاق! ما هو أسوأ هو وضع قيود على الله الذي يمكنه ان يفعل كل شيء. نضع الله في "اطار". متى ما هيئنا ذواتنا لقدرات الله ، خمنوا على قدرات من نعتمد؟الله!

"That's where I am. That's the freedom and victory I have. I believe in a God who can do all things, but if He chooses not to give me arms and legs, I know it's for the better. And I may not understand it, but all I need to know is that He's going to carry me through, that there is a purpose for it." //Those are some of Nick Vujicic’s words, the human being who was born in the morning of the 4th of December 1982 in Australia limbless, missing both arms at shoulder level, and having one small foot with two toes protruding from his left thigh. //"No matter who you are, no matter what you're going through, God knows it," he said. "He is with you. He is going to pull you through." //Nick has a positive approach to life although it hasn’t been easy for him. It was in his early years of life where he encountered uncomfortable times of feeling rejected, weird and bullied because of his physical difference. It was very hard for him to get used to, but with the support of his parents, he started to develop attitudes and values which helped him overcome these challenging times.//At 17, he started speaking at school and church-sponsored events. By the age of 19, he seemed to have found his calling, and was getting dozens of speaking invitations. //Nick Vujicic does have one of the most powerful of all human attributes: a voice. Through the non-profit ministry he calls Life Without Limbs and a motivational program titled "Attitude is Altitude," Vujicic said he has made over 1,600 speaking appearances in 12 nations for over two million people.//At the age of 21, Nick graduated from college with as a double major in Accounting and Financial Planing . So, in addition for being a motivational speaker, he is a real estate investor, stock market investor and author. Writing several best-selling books has been one of his dreams and he hope to finish writing his first book which will be called "No Arms, No Legs, No Worries!" He learned to write using the two toes on his left "foot", and a special device that slid onto his big toe to grip. He also learned to use a computer and type using the "heel and toe" method .//Nick has learn to become independent and can now take care of all his personal needs. He can do everything from brushing his teeth, combing his hair, dressing up, taking care of his personal hygiene and even shaving.//He brushes his teeth by propping the toothbrush in the muscles between his neck and shoulder. //Nick Vujicic also finds time for such normal pursuits as swimming, music and fishing . Vujicic can swim, which causes gasps among people who have never seen him in the water — especially when he dives into the deep end of the pool. "I don't have much body mass compared to everybody else," he said. "I float, I keep buoyant — unless someone makes a joke. If I start laughing, I start sinking, and it's not that funny, then." //. How does he fish if he doesn’t have arms? He has a fishing rod with an electronic reel. //Nick Vujicic believes that if you have the desire and passion to do something, and if it's God's will, you will achieve it in good time. As humans, we continually put limits on ourselves for no reason at all! What's worse is putting limits on God who can do all things. We put God in a "box". The awesome thing about the Power of God, is that if we want to do something for God, instead of focusing on our capability, concentrate on our availability for we know that it is God through us and we can't do anything without Him. Once we make ourselves available for God's work, guess whose capabilities we rely on? God's!

أشرف أرمان رسام تركي غير عادي أبدا. أعماله تم عرضها في تركيا و خارجها. معلق داخل شقته في تركيا رسالة شكر ذات اطار من بيل كلينتون حيث سبق لأشرف أن قام برسم صورته. كتبت عنه مقالات صحفيه و ظهر عبر التلفزيون التركي أضافة الى قناتي سي ان ان ، بي بي سي. كل من يقابل أشرف يتأثر عاطفيا و ينبهر بحرية الضوء في لوحاته و كذلك بعمق ألوانه.\\\ أشرف رسام أعمى، أعمى منذ الولاده. لم يتمكن أبدا من رؤية أو فهم الألوان كما يفعل المبصرون. لم يتمكن أبدا من رؤية سحر الضوء وقت غروب الشمس و لا جمال مروج ذات ورود في الربيع. رغبة الاستمرار الملحه مقرونة بعبقريته الفريده منحا أشرف الصوت لأن يعبرعن نفسه و عن العينين اللتين يرى بهما.\\\ تميز أشرف لا يحير المبصرين فقط، و لكنه يحير أيضا غير المبصرين و المعالجين العاملين في المجال( أخصائيو العيون، أخصائيو العيون و الأعصاب، أخصائيو النفس و الأعصاب، معالجو الأعصاب ). من يريد أن يحلل حالة أشرف الفريده بالمنطق قد يساهم و لكنه يصبح مشككا: ان الأمر مستحيل ! لابد أن هناك حيلة ! لابد أن هناك أحدا يساعده سرا ! ربما لا يكون حقا أعمى منذ الولاده !\\\ الأخصائيون الذين قاموا بلقاء أشرف حيرتهم قدراته. انه ينقل و يصف الفضاء بسهوله، تفاصيله دقيقه و مليئه بالمعلومات المرئيه ( تغير الألوان، الظلال، تأثيرات الضوء و الظل، انعكاس الضوء، التباين و الرسم المنظوري) . \\\في سن السادسه بدأ أشرف الرسم مستعينا بالورق و قلم الرصاص و لاحقا بدأ بالرسم بواسطة الألوان الزيتيه على الأوراق الخاصه . وجد أن هذه الطريقه الأخيره تستهلك من الوقت الكثير. بعد أن ينهي استخدام لون معين، ينبغي له أن ينتظر بعضا من الأيام كي يجف ذلك اللون قبل أن يستطيع أن يبدأ باللون التالي.
\\\قبل عشر سنوات اكتشف أشرف أن الأكريل يجف بسرعه و أنه يستطيع أن يرسم مباشرة على قماش القنب. كان قد بدأ الرسم من أجل متعته الذاتيه، من أجل فضوله، و من أجل ارضاء معرفته : أن الأشياء التي بامكانه صنعها، من غير مساعدة الآخرين، يمكنها أن تماثل الحقيقه. يداه هما عيناه. عندما يرسم كي يرى الآخرون، يستخدم يده اليمنى كي يرسم خطوطا و يصنع طبقات أوليه على قصاصة ورقه موضوعه على لوح ذي مطاط. في نفس الوقت، هو يستشعر خطوطه بيده اليسرى. عندما يرسم، فانه يضع الألوان مباشرة، فهي مصفوفة وفق ترتيب معين يستطيع معه دوما أن يجد اللون المطلوب.\\\ كان لأشرف معارض في عدة مدن في تركيا و كذلك في نيويورك، شيكاغو، شنغهاي، أسيسي، ايطاليا، جمهورية التشيك، روتيردام و قبرص الشماليه. في السنة الماضيه زار هارفرد و كان الممثل التركي الوحيد في
VSArts Festival
المماثله للأولمبياد الخاص و المموله من قبل عائلة كندي في واشنطن،دي سي. و تم اعداد المواد الوثائقيه من قبل البريطانيين، الأتراك، الكوريين و الأمريكيين.

Esref Armagan is a very unusual Turkish painter. His artwork has been exhibited in Turkey and abroad. Hanging in his apartment in Turkey is a framed thank you letter from Bill Clinton because Esref had painted his portrait. There have been newspaper articles written about him and he has appeared on Turkish television as well as CNN and BBC. Whoever meets Esref is touched and awed by the freedom of light in his paintings and the depth of his colors///. Esref is a blind painter, blind from birth. He has never been able to see nor understand colors as seeing people do. He has never been able to see the magic light at sunset nor the beauty of a flowering meadow in the spring. The stubborn persistence mixed with his unique genius has given Esref the voice to express himself and "the eyes to see with." ///Esref's singularity perplexes not only the seeing, but even the non-seeing and the therapists that work in the field (ophthalmologists, neuro-ophthalmologists, neuro-psychiatrists and neuro-therapists). Whoever wants to analyze his unique case rationally can'' help but be skeptical: It's impossible!, "There must be some trick!", "There has to be somebody who helps him secretly!", "Maybe he's not really blind from birth!"/// Specialists that have met him have been confused by Esref's capacities. "He moves and represents space with ease, his details are precise and full of visible information (color variation, shadows, light and shade effects, light reflection, contrasts and perspective)///. At 6 years old he began to draw with paper and pencil and later he started painting with oil paints on poster paper. He found this technique to be too time consuming. After having painted one color, he'd have to wait a couple of days for the oil to dry before he could begin with the next color./// Ten years ago Esref discovered that acrylics dried quickly and that he could paint directly on canvas. He started painting for his own pleasure: for his curiosity and for the satisfaction of knowing that the things he could create, without the help of others, could correspond with reality. His 'eyes' are his hands. When he draws for others to see, he uses his right hand he traces lines and makes impressions on a piece of paper that is placed on a rubberized slate. At the same time, he feels his traced lines with his left hand. When he paints, he puts the colors, which are lined up in a particular order so that he can always find the right one desired, on directly. ///He has had exhibits in many cities in Turkey as well as in New York, Chicago, Shanghai, Assisi, Italy, the Czech Republic, Rotterdam and Northern Cyprus. Last year he visited Harvard and was Turkey's only representative at the VSArts Festival (the equivalent of Special Olympics and also sponsored by the Kennedy family) in Washington, DC. Documentaries have been made by the British, Turks, Koreans and Americans.

عند مضخة بئر سوداء في المدينة الجنوبيه الصغيره تسكمبيا بولاية ألباما الأمريكيه، بدأ مشوار واحده من أهم ملهمات العالم. بدأ مشوارها في يوم ربيعي مشرق من عام 1887. كانت السحب البيضاء المنفوشه تطفو فوق خلفية زرقاء، بينما الطيور ترفرف بأجنحتها بين أشجار البلوط و القيقب، و بات قريبا نمو الأزهار من خلال التربة الخصبة لتنتج مجموعة من الألوان. كل ذلك لم يسمع ولم يرى من قبل الفتاة اللطيفة ذات السبع سنين.\\\\\ الى جوار هيلين كيلر العمياء و الصماء تماما كانت تقف امرأة شابه، آن سوليفان. التي كانت هي أيضا تعاني مشاكل بصريه سابقا. الآنسه سوليفان كانت تسكب بثبات ماء باردا في احدى يدي الفتاة بينما تنقر بتكرار شفرة مكونة من خمسة أحرف على اليد الأخرى_ببطء في البدايه، ومن ثم بشكل سريع. تكرر المشهد مرارا بينما ناضلت هيلين بألم من أجل أن تنهي عالمها الصامت. و بشكل مفاجئ وصلت الاشارات بمعنى الى عقل هيلين الواعي. عرفت بأن
" w-a-t-e-r”
قصد به ذاك الشئ البارد الذي يجري على يدها. العتمة بدأت تتلاشى من ذهنها كما تذوب قطعة ثلج تركت بالخارج في يوم مشمس من شهر مارس. بحلول الليل تعلمت هيلين 30 كلمه.\\\\\هيلين آدام كيلر ولدت كطفلة سليمة في 27 يونيو عام 1880، لكابتين آرثرهيلين و كيت آدم كيلر من تسكمبيا. في سن التسعة عشر شهرا الواهن، ابتليت بمرض شديد أصبحت بعده عمياء و صماء.\\\\\في سن السادسه، أخذت الفتاة العمياء الصماء المتمرده بواسطة والديها الى الدكتور الكسندر غراهام بل ، الذي كان يتعامل مع الأطفال الأصماء في ذلك الوقت. و بسبب زيارتها تلك، انسجمت هيلين بحب مع معلمتها آن مانسفيلد سوليفان في 3 مارس عام 1887. و كانت تلك بداية علاقتهما الطويله التي استمرت 49 عاما . بعد تمكنها الاعجازي من التعلم السريع و تحديدا عند مضخة البئر البسيطه، أثبتت هيلين أنها موهوبه جدا حيث تعلمت مبكرا لغة الأنامل- تهجئة الكلمات التي تكتب على الكف- و بعدها بقليل تعلمت الكتابة. و مع نهاية شهر أغسطس، و في ستة أشهر قصيرة، عرفت هيلين 652 كلمة. كذلك قامت سوليفان بتعليم تلميذتها كيفية التحدث مستعينة بطريقة تادوما القائمه على تحسس شفاه وحناجر الآخرين عندما يتحدثون.\\\\\في سن العاشرة،أتقنت هيلين لغة برايل و كذلك الأحرف الأبجديه اليدويه و تعلمت أيضا كيف تستعمل الآلة الطابعة. لم تستخدمت هيلين لغة برايل لتقرأ باللغة الانجليزية فحسب، بل أيضا بالفرنسيه، الألمانيه، اليونانيه، و اللاتينيه . في عمر السادسة عشر، تكمنت هيلين من الحديث بشكل كاف لأن تذهب الى مدرسة اعدادية و كلية. في عام 1904 تخرجت هيلين مع مرتبة الشرف من كلية رادكليف، لتصبح أول شخصية عمياء-صماء تحصل على درجة البكالوريوس في الآداب. وقد لازمتها معلمتها طوال تلك السنين، تفسر لها المحاضرات و المناقشات الصفية.\\\\\الفتاة الصغيرة، هيلين كيلر، أصبحت واحده من النساء الرائعات في التاريخ. كتبت 12 كتابا و العديد من المقالات . كرست حياتها من أجل تطوير أوضاع من هو أعمى و من هو أصم- أعمى حول العالم، تحاضر في أكثر من 25 دولة في القارات الخمس الرئيسية. أينما ظهرت، جلبت شجاعة جديدة للملايين ممن أصيبوا بالعمى من البشر .\\\\\في عام 2003، كرمت ولاية ألباما ابنتها هيلين بأن نقشت اسمها على العملة المعدنية الخاصة بالولاية.\\\\\معلمتها، آن سوليفان ، تذكر بتفانيها طوال حياتها، صبرها، و حبها لطفلة متمرده من مدينة جنوبية وقعت في عالم من الظلام.

At a plain, black well-pump in the small southern town of Tuscumbia, Alabama, one of the world's great miracles took place. It began one bright, spring day in 1887. Puffy white clouds floated overhead on a background of blue, while birds fluttered through oaks and maples and flowers burst forth from the fertile soil in an array of colors—all unheard and unseen by a pretty girl of seven./////Standing at the totally blind and deaf Helen Keller's side was a young woman, Anne Sullivan. Who herself was visually impaired. Miss Sullivan was steadily pumping cool water into one of the girl's hands while repeatedly tapping out an alphabet code of five letters in the other—first slowly, then rapidly. The scene was repeated again and again as young Helen painstakingly struggled to break her world of silence./////Suddenly the signals crossed Helen's consciousness with a meaning. She knew that "w-a-t-e-r" meant the cool something flowing over her hand. Darkness began to melt from her mind like so much ice left out on the sunny March day. By nightfall, Helen had learned 30 words./////Helen Adams Keller was born a healthy child on June 27, 1880, to Captain Arthur H. and Kate Adams Keller of Tuscumbia. At the tender age of 19 months, she was stricken with a severe illness which left her blind and deaf./////At the age of six, the half-wild, deaf and blind girl was taken by her parents to see Dr. Alexander Graham Bell, who was working with deaf children at the time./////Because of her visit, Helen was united with her teacher Anne Mansfield Sullivan on March 3, 1887. It was the beginning of a 49-year-long relationship/////After Helen's miraculous break-through at the simple well-pump, she proved so gifted that she soon learned the fingertip alphabet and shortly afterward to write. By the end of August, in six short months, she knew 625 words. Also, Sullivan taught her charge to speak using the Tadoma method of touching the lips and throat of others as they speak./////By age 10, Helen had mastered Braille as well as the manual alphabet and even learned to use the typewriter. ٍShe used Braille to read not only English but also French, German, Greek, and Latin./////By the time she was 16, Helen could speak well enough to go to preparatory school and to college. In 1904 she was graduated "cum laude" from Radcliffe College, becoming the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree./////The teacher stayed with her through those years, interpreting lectures and class discussions to her./////Helen Keller, the little girl, became one of history's remarkable women. She wrote 12 books and numerous articles.She dedicated her life to improving the conditions of blind and the deaf-blind around the world, lecturing in more than 25 countries on the five major continents. Wherever she appeared, she brought new courage to millions of blind people.///// In 2003, Alabama honored its native daughter on its state quarter./////Her teacher, Anne Sullivan is remembered for her lifetime dedication, patience and love to a half-wild southern child trapped in a world of darkness.

الفتاة ( لي، ما) كانت مشروع مؤدية باليه محترفه جميله عندما فقدت ذراعها اليمنى نتيجة حادث سير عام 1996. كانت حينها في سن التاسعة عشرة فقط. صديقها الوسيم تخلى عنها. حاولت الانتحار الا انها لم تفعل من أجل والديها. حبها لوالديها مدها بالعزيمة لأن تحيا. تعلمت كيف تعيش حياتها من غير اتكالية.تعلمت كيف تكتب لغتها الصينيه بجمال و كيف تعمل العديد من الأمور متضمنة تمشيط شعرها الذي اضطرت الى قصه من (طول الى الرسغ) الى (طول الى الكتف). تعلمت أن تطبخ و أن تغسل الثياب..و خلال أشهر قليله افتتحت مكتبتها الصغيره.خمس سنوات بعد ذلك، في عام 2001, تمت دعوتها لتنافس في المسابقه الوطنيه الخامسه للأداء الاستعراضي الخاص بذوي الاحتياجات الخاصه و حازت على الميداليه الذهبيه. ذلك النجاح منحها الأمل لأن تعود الى منصتها المحببه. في عام 2002 ، ( تاو، لي) شاب وسيم في العشرين من العمر وقع في حبها بجنون. ابتعدت هي عنه لخوفها من أن تجرح مشاعرها مرة أخرى. و بعد أن اختفت في بكين، بحث عنها تاو في كل مكان رغم شدة معارضة و سخرية والديه . في النهاية و جدها تؤدي استعراضا في صاله. و منذ ذلك الحين لم يفترقا.كانا محطمي القلب و بشده عندما انتشر الداء الرئوي الحاد ( سارس) لأن جميع الصالات أصبحت مغلقه. في عام 2004، حصل (تاو) على رخصه كي يصبح وكيل (لي) الشرعي و كان يحاول أن يساعدها على أن تطور أداء استعراضا مميزا. في ليله مثلجه بارده، و بينما كان الاثنان مكومان في الطريق السفلي انتظارا لشروق الشمس كي يلحقا بحافلة بعد يوم طويل في موقع لتصوير فيلم يؤديان فيه دورا ثانويا، فجأة كان لدى (لي) الحافز كي تؤدي عرضا استعراضيا في الثلج مع (تاو). كانت (لي) قد استغلت أداءها الاستعراضي مرارا من قبل و خلال هذه المره من أجل أن تخبر (تاو) بقصتها. بعد أن انتهي "أداءهما الاستعراضي" ، أدرك "تاو" فجأة أن هذا العرض ينبغي أن يكون هو أداءها الاستعراضي المميز.في سبتمبر من عام 2005، استعانت (لي) ب ( زياوي، زاي) شاب في الواحد و العشرين من العمر. كان ( زياوي) قد درب ليصبح دراجا من أجل الأولمبياد الوطني الخاص. كان لم يسبق له الأداء الاستعراضي من قبل. تسلق جرارا عندما كان في الرابعة من العمر و سقط منه ففقد ساقه اليسرى. سأله والده:" الطبيب سوف يضطر الى قطع ساقك، هل أنت خائف؟" لم يكن مدركا ما الذي سيصبح مختلفا جدا فلذلك قال لا. قال والده:"سوف تواجه عدة تحديات و صعوبات في الحياة، هل أنت خائف؟" فسأل هو :"ما هي التحديات و الصعوبات؟ هل طعمها جيد؟" ضحك والده بينما كان يبكي،" نعم، انها مثل حلوياتك المفضله. أنت فقط بحاجه لأن تتناول قطعه واحده في كل مرة!" بعدها غادر والده الى خارج الغرفه باكيا.في البدء لم يكن مدركا كيف باستطاعته الأداء الاستعراضي، لذلك دعته (لي) لكي يراها تؤدي استعراضا يدا بيد مع مؤد استعراضي آخر. شعر و كأنه رأى روحا مثاليه تؤدي استعراضا فوق المنصه فوافق أن يمنح الفكرة فرصة. (لي) و (تاو) عاملاه وكأنه أخوهما الأصغر و بقوا جميعا تحت ذات السقف خلال المدة المكثفة للتمرين والممارسه والتي امتدت لأكثر من سنه. لا يمكن للمرء أن يتصور طبيعة التحديات و الصعوبات التي واجهوها. هو لم يكن له معرفة مسبقة بالأداء الاستعراضي و هي مؤدية استعراض مثالية.هنالك العديد من القصص المؤثرة.الكثير من العزم وظف نحو انجاز هذا الأداء. من أجل تلك الحركه "الاسقاطيه" فقط و الواقعه في التوقيت 3:41 من المقطع، (زياوي) أوقع (لي) على الأرض الصلبه أكثر من 1000 مرة! و من أجل الحصول على الحركه الصحيحه، كان الثلاثه قد بدأوا في الساعة الثامنة صباحا و حصلوا على أول حركه ناجحه بعد الساعه الثامنه مساء! كل ما كانوا يفعلونه هو التمرين و الممارسه من الساعه الثامنه صباحا و حتى الساعه الحاديه عشرة مساء. يوما بالداخل و يوما بالخارج حتى أفلس الثلاثه في بدايات عام 2007.البقيه تعتبر تاريخيه. في أبريل، كان(زياوي) و (لي) أحد المرشحين النهائيين ضمن 7000 متسابق في المسابقة الوطنية الرابعه للأداء الاستعراضي لقناة ال

"The girl (Ma, Li) was a beautiful promising professional ballerina when she lost her right arm in a car accident in 1996. She was only 19. Her handsome boy friend walked away from her. She tried to kill herself only to be saved by her parents. Her love for her parents gave her the strength to live. She learned how to live her life independently. She learned how to write Chinese beautifully and how to do many things including combing her hair, which she had to cut short from the waist-length to shoulder-length. She learned to cook and to wash clothes ... In a few months she opened her small bookstore. Five years later in 2001, she was invited to compete at the 5th national special performing art competition for handicaps and won the gold medal. That success gave her the hope to return to her beloved stage. In 2002, a handsome 20-year-old young man (Li, Tao) madly fell in love with her. She ran away from him for fear of being hurt again. After she disappeared in Beijing, Tao searched her up and down despite his parents' strong objection and ridicule. He finally found her dancing in a bar. They have never been separated since. They were very broke when SARS was spreading because all theaters were closed. In 2004, he got a license to be her legitimate agent and was trying to help her develop a unique performance. In a cold snowy night, when the two huddled in an underpass to wait for the sunrise in order to catch a bus after a long day at a movie shooting site working as extras, she suddenly had the urge to dance in the snow with him. She had used her dance to tell him her story so many times before and this time, after their "dance" ended, he suddenly realized that THIS should be her unique performance. In September 2005, she ran into a 21-year-old young man (Zhai, Xiaowei). He was being trained to be a cyclist for the national Special Olympics. He had never danced before. He climbed on a tractor when he was 4 years old and fell off it and lost his left leg. His dad asked him, "The doctor will have to amputate your leg. Are you afraid?" He couldn't comprehend what would be so different so he said no. His dad said, "You are going to face many challenges and difficulties in life, are you afraid?" He asked, "What are 'challenges and difficulties?' Do they taste good?" His dad laughed with tears, "Yes, they're like your favorite candies. You just need to eat them one piece at a time!" (Then his dad ran out of the room in tears.) He initially didn't understand how he could "dance," so Li invited him to see her performing "Hand in Hand" with another male actor. He felt that he saw a perfect soul dancing on the stage and agreed to give it a try. Li & Tao treated him like their younger brother and they stayed under the same roof during the more than 1 year of intensive training and practice. One would not be able to imagine the kind of challenges and difficulties they faced. He had NO dancing background and she is a perfectionist. There are so many touching stories. Much determination has gone into the making of this performance. Just for that one "drop" move at 3:41 of the clip, he landed her on the hard floor more than 1000 times!!! To get the move right, they started at 8 a.m. and got the first successful move shortly after 8 pm! All they did was to train and to practice from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. day-in and day-out until the three of them ran out of money in early 2007. The rest is history. In April they were one of the finalists among 7000 competitors in the 4th CCTV national dance competition. It is the first time a handicapped couple ever entered the competition. They won the Silver medal with the 99.17 high score and not to mention the highest audience popular votes."

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (AP) -- For almost 60 years, Dianne Odell lived inside a 7-foot-long metal tube, unable to breathe outside it but determined not to let it destroy her spirit. From her 750-pound iron lung, she got a high school diploma, took college courses and wrote a children's book about a "wishing star" named Blinky. "I've had a very good life, filled with love and family and faith," she said in 1994.

"You can make life good, or you can make it bad."
Odell, 61, died when a power failure shut off electricity to the tube and stopped the pump drawing air into her lungs. Family members were unable to get an emergency generator working after a power failure knocked out electricity to the Odell family's residence near Jackson, about 80 miles northeast of Memphis, brother-in-law Will Beyer said. "We did everything we could do, but we couldn't keep her breathing," Beyer said. "Dianne had gotten a lot weaker over the past several months, and she just didn't have the strength to keep going." Odell, who contracted polio when she was 3 years old, lived with her parents, Freeman and Geneva Odell, and their house was equipped with an emergency generator designed to fire up immediately in a power failure. "But for some reason, it didn't come on," Beyer said. Family members even tried an emergency hand pump attached to the iron lung. "Everyone knew what we were supposed to be doing," Beyer said. "It just wasn't working." Capt. Jerry Elston of the Madison County Sheriff's Department said emergency crews could do little to help.The local power company reported spotty power outages in the area because of storms. Odell was afflicted with "bulbo-spinal" polio three years before a polio vaccine was discovered and largely stopped the spread of the crippling childhood disease. Her care was provided by her parents, other family members and aides provided by a nonprofit foundation. "Dianne was one of the kindest and most considerate people you could meet. She was always concerned about others and their well-being," said Frank McMeen, president of the West Tennessee Health Care Foundation, which helped raise money for equipment and nursing assistance for Odell. Odell accepted her life with grace, McMeen said. "Everyone she encountered came to her because they cared about her," he said, "so she grew up in her 61 years thinking every person is good." Odell's iron lung, similar to those used during the U.S. polio epidemics that peaked in the 1950s, was a cylindrical chamber with a seal at the neck. She lay on her back with only her head exposed and made eye contact with visitors through an angled mirror. She operated a television set with a small blow tube and wrote on a voice activated computer. The positive and negative pressures produced by the machine forced air into her lungs and then expelled it. Iron lungs were largely replaced by positive-pressure airway ventilators in the late 1950s that give users much more freedom of movement. But a spinal deformity from the polio kept Odell from wearing a more modern portable breathing device. Joan Headley of Post-Polio Health International in St. Louis said that about 30 people in the United States still rely on iron lungs but that few users are confined to them all the time. No one keeps records, she said, on the longest confinement. Caregivers could slide Odell's bedding out of her iron lung for basic nursing care but only briefly, McMeen said. Though Odell could not leave the iron lung, she was able to be moved in the machine. For her 60th birthday, in February 2007, friends and family held a party for her, with about 200 guests, at a downtown hotel in Jackson, a town of about 50,000 residents. "She had a 9-foot birthday cake, and she had letters ... from people all over the country,"McMeen said.

A lifetime in an iron lung: courage in the face of a cruel disease .Stricken in childhood by polio, Dianne Odell had spent six decades encased in the machine that kept her alive until a sudden power failure this week. Guy Adams salutes a woman of rare fortitude

For the first time in almost 60 years, Dianne Odell's family home was silent yesterday. Only a string of well-wishers interrupted the eerie calm that pervaded the house where, for as long as anyone can remember, a noisy electric motor had powered the massive "iron lung" pumping air in and out of her body. Just 24 hours earlier, thunderstorms had blown trees on to a power-line near the modest house in Jackson, Tennessee, setting in train a tragic series of events that would shut down an enormous metal machine that had kept the 61-year old woman alive since she was a toddler. Shortly after 3am, Ms Odell's father, Freeman, and brother-in-law Will Beyer realised that their emergency generator had failed to kick in, and attempted to fit another artificial respirator. When that wouldn't work, they tried pumping the iron lung manually in a last, desperate attempt to feed air into her lungs. But Dianne Odell could not be saved. She died a few minutes later, finally falling victim to the appalling condition that had first touched her life at the age of three, and would eventually turn her into a remarkable and world-famous symbol of suffering – and hope. "We did everything we could do, but we just couldn't keep her breathing," Mr Beyer said yesterday. "Dianne was a very unique person. But she had gotten weaker over the past several months and she just didn't have the strength to keep going." Ms Odell was believed to be the world's longest-surviving victim of polio to have spent almost her entire life inside an iron lung, a now virtually obsolete medical device that keeps patients alive by forcing air in and out of their paralysed bodies. She had been confined to the 7ft, 750lb metal tube – which mostly remained in the living room of her parents' home 80 miles north-east of Memphis – since 1950, when she had fallen victim at the age of three to a severe case of "bulbo-spinal" polio. This crippling disease, which has since been eradicated in the developed world through vaccination programmes, forced doctors to encase her in a sealed cylindrical metal container, which produced alternately positive and negative pressure that allowed her lungs to expand and contract. Although experts at the time gave her just a few years to live, Ms Odell remained lying on her back, with only her head extending from the mechanical device, for nearly six decades. She was cared for by her close family together with a community of friends and admirers, with whom she made eye contact through an angled mirror. Despite the difficulties of Ms Odell's condition, she managed to get a high-school diploma, take college courses, and even write a children's book about a "wishing star"' called Blinky – all from the confines of the living room of her home at 133 Odell Street. A small television set was mounted on a frame above her head and operated with a blow-tube. She wrote on a voice-activated computer. And over the years, as her fame grew, she touched the lives of thousands of supporters and fellow-sufferers around the world. For her 60th birthday party in February last year, she was painstakingly transported inside the machine to a local hotel, the last time she would ever leave the house. Tributes poured in from Hollywood stars – including the actress Jane Seymour and her husband James Keach. Al Gore also paid homage. "Dianne was one of the kindest and most considerate people you could meet. She was always concerned about others and their well-being," said Frank McMeen, a family friend and president of the West Tennessee Health Care Foundation, which ran a fund to help finance her treatment. "Each of us grows into our world, but Dianne's world was a bed in her living room. But as we took people to meet her, they also became her world, and she adapted. She tutored children; she spoke to the Rotary Club; she became a remarkable person who managed to do a great deal with her life. Right now, her family is suffering from their loss. But her legacy will provide comfort." Behind Ms Odell's achievements were her mother, Geneva, and father, Freeman, who were determined to care for her at home, even when Medicare, the public health insurance scheme, announced that it would only fund her treatment if she were moved to a nursing home. In addition to raising the $80,000 it cost to care for Dianne each year, they devoted themselves to making her life as normal as possible.Freeman, a Second World War veteran and professional telephone engineer, installed a speakerphone system connecting their home with the Jackson Central-Merry High School, so that Dianne could listen in to lessons during her teenage years. She later used the device to study at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee. Although her condition eventually forced her to withdraw, she was awarded an honorary degree from the institution. In 2001, Ms Odell used a voice-activated computer to write a children's book about a small star who wanted to become a "wishing star" in order, she told interviewers, to show youngsters, especially those with physical difficulties, that you should never give up. She even became a political activist, helping to canvass for state senators via telephone. Although in recent years she suffered from a series of mini-strokes, her death came as a shock to fellow victims of polio, who regarded her as a poster-girl for the handful of Americans still forced to use iron lungs on either a constant or occasional basis. "Her story leaves me with mixed emotions," said Richard Daggett, a polio survivor from Downey, California. "Obviously, she triumphed for very many years, despite tremendous health problems, and that's joyful. But while we all must die eventually, the circumstances of Dianne Odell's life and death make it particularly sad for her family and friends. "An iron lung can be a strange place to be. It's not unpleasant most of the time. You are comfortable and of course you are kept alive, but it can be frustrating if, for example, you have an itchy nose and are totally unable to scratch it. But it's as gentle a form of artificial respiration as you can hope for." Joan Headley, of Post Polio Health International, a charitable organisation in St Louis, said that about 30 people in the United States still rely on iron lungs, although few users are confined to them all the time. No one keeps records on the longest confinement. "Some people just use them to sleep, but Dianne was an extreme case," she said. "But for all that, she went to school and she got an education, and she made people aware of the plight of other polio sufferers, so we have to admire her." In Jackson, a town of about 50,000, the community that has for decades rallied round the Odell family, are determined her name should survive. Frank McMeen said yesterday that any remaining money in the Dianne Odell fund will be used to set up an endowment for disadvantaged children. The iron lung will be donated to the local museum. At the Church of Christ, where the Odell family worship, they will say farewell next week – and may draw comfort from the words of the woman who was incarcerated for so long. "I remember walking to a ball game with daddy," she once said. "And I remember being on a train. It seems like I can remember playing out in the mud one day. But I've had a very good life, filled with love and family and faith.
